Ruth Fuerst

Ruth Fuerst, LCSW, a CCFH Associate Faculty member, is the director of the Family & School Partnerships Program, a program she originated at CCFH, which is now a professional development program at Loyola University School of Social Work. She is a clinical social worker with a long-term interest in children, families and school social work. Ms. Fuerst worked in a residential school through the Jewish Board of Guardians in New York. At the Ray School in Hyde Park, Chicago, she piloted a systemically oriented program, Project Connect, under the auspices of The Center for Family Development. For nine years she was a lecturer and field liaison for the School Social Work Concentration in the School of Social Service Administration (SSA) at the University of Chicago. She is also a former clinical instructor at SSA and the Columbia University School of Social Work.
