Bill Martin
Bill Martin, LCSW, a core CCFH faculty member, has taught in certificate program courses on Adolescents and their Families and in the Families, Illness & Collaborative Healthcare Program.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Bill is in private practice working with adults and adolescents. He is interested in the use of creative, expressive therapy in the treatment of trauma. He integrates interactional guided imagery and body-centered therapy with traditional talk therapy in his work with individuals, couples and groups. He is a skilled psychodrama leader with the Victories of the Heart retreat and group program for men.
Also, Bill worked as part of a collaborative, integrative therapy team at Bonaventure House and Strong Spirit Wellness Center, a program of Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. His clinical focus there was brief and long-term psychotherapy with adults living with chronic and life threatening illness, particularly HIV/AIDS.
