Bessie Sulton Akuamoah

Bessie Sulton Akuamoah, LCSW teaches in the Family & School Partnerships Program. She co-facilitates a consultation group for school-based professionals and co-teaches at workshops. Ms. Sulton Akuamoah is the Division Director of Circle Family Care, serving low-income families on Chicago’s west side. She is a Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) Certified Trainer in Child Welfare. Ms. Akuamoah is a member of the American Family Therapy Academy. She specializes in individual, family, and couples therapy, and has particular expertise in parenting strategies and conflict management.
