The Chicago Center for Family Health faculty are recognized internationally for outstanding teaching, publications, and practice initiatives at the forefront of the field of family therapy. Our faculty members, many with over 20 years of experience, hold advanced degrees in psychiatry, psychology, social work, counseling and/or marriage and family therapy.

Many CCFH faculty members provide expert therapy and counseling services at our downtown center and at several neighborhood and suburban offices. They are skilled in working collaboratively with families, couples and individual clients to resolve problems, build strengths, improve relationships, restore optimal functioning, and facilitate personal growth and well-being.  Their diverse areas of training and practice specialization include:

  • child and adolescent problems
  • couples therapy
  • family relationship problems
  • illness and disability
  • end of life, loss, and bereavement concerns
  • alcohol and drug abuse
  • violence and sexual abuse
  • low-income/multi-stressed families
  • divorce mediation and custody services
  • school/family partnerships
  • women’s issues / men’s issues
  • lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender clients
